International Web Hosting

All your website content, emails and anything else related to your account is placed on a server within the relevant international borders and served to all visitors from that location.

Every website needs a domain name. However if you already have a domain name registered and wish to leave it with it’s current registrar, then you can simply point your domain name to our name servers. If you would like to transfer your domain to us then you can also do so without purchasing another domain. Alternatively, you can purchase a domain name through us. We offer you a free .za domain name for the first year on select packages. Thereafter, the normal recurring domain renewal fee will be applicable.

The free tld(top level domain) extensions that we offer with each bundle are:

co.za
org.za
net.za
web.za

If you would like an international tld(top level domain) extension such as a .com or .org instead, then that will be added as an additional cost.

On Annual signups, where indicated, a free domain for the first year is available with your your hosting package.  Free domains are not available on our month-to-month offerings.

After the first year, you will be sent an invoice to renew that domain.  See our domain name pricing schedule here for prices on all TLD(Top Level Domain) extensions.

NOTE: Domain Transfers do not qualift for the first year free as this is an already registered domain.

Absolutely!  BlueSteam does not charge any additional fees to enable you to create your own website.

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at anytime.  Simply log in to the client area, find the relevant service in the dashboard and click on the Upgrade/Downgrade button.

The billing run occurs 30days before due date.  Therefore, you will receive and invoice 30 days prior to the day that your invoice must be settled giving you enough time to arrange settlement of your account.

At present, BlueSteam offers three forms of payment.  Normal EFT, Payfast and Snapscan.

PayFast

A payments processing service for South Africans and South African websites. They enable easy, secure and instant transfer of money between online buyers and sellers using either your credit card or a straight EFT from your bank account.

Snapscan

Snapscan has over 25 000 merchants and a vast user network across South Africa. The app supports credit cards and most debit cards from any local bank, as well as 3D Secure-enabled international bank cards. Simple scan the provided QR code on your invoice and pay.

If your account reaches its due date, BlueSteam still allows a grace period of 5 days for your to settle your account.  If your account reaches 9 days overdue, then a late fee of R250 is added to the account.  If your account is still not settled after this, the account is then terminated after 30days of the due date to free up resources for paying customers.

Because we offer unlimited bandwidth and the only limitation on your account is your web storage and the number of addon domains you can assign to your account, once, you reach these limits, the next step is to upgrade your account to one that is larger than your current package.

BlueSteam does not store your payment information.  The payment facilities that we use are countrywide services and all payments made through their facilities are protected by a secure and encrypted connection.
